Small Giants is fortunate and proud to say that every day for the last decade, we’ve worked with commercial real estate related companies that are making huge impacts in Arizona. In celebration of those ten years, we wanted to partner with a nonprofit organization also making huge strides in Phoenix, and provide them with a free, ten-service, holistic marketing bundle. We called it the Small Giants 10 for 10 Campaign.
All summer long, organizations that would benefit from our campaign connected with us regarding their nonprofit’s mission and how we could help them achieve their long-term marketing goals. Fourteen nonprofits applied, and after an extremely difficult team deliberation followed by interviews with our top three picks, it was decided that Seed Spot would be the recipient of our services.
Seed Spot is an incubator with a mission to educate, accelerate and invest in entrepreneurs that are solving important social problems. By selecting Seed Spot, we may also be effectively supporting the missions of other nonprofits who applied. Seed Spot could potentially invest in entrepreneurs who have ideas for preventing teen suicide, creating positive social change, enhancing self-esteem in young women and solving cures to cancer – the missions of a few nonprofits who requested our services.
This year, Seed Spot is working with its seventh cohort of entrepreneurs. On Dec. 7, we attended their annual Demo Day, an entrepreneurial gathering at Phoenix’s Orpheum Theater that allows each group of the cohort to pitch their ventures to over 1,300 people. It was an inspirational event, indeed.
